TYLER RAMSEY / A Long Dream About Swimming Across The Sea
Best known for his guitar work, finger-style picking reminiscent of John Fahey and Leo Kottke. Whether it’s indie folk, country blues or finger style guitar, Ramsey composes intricate, ethereal songs. While living in the mountains of Western North Carolina he immersed himself in folk styles of the area. Inspired by the traveling country blues musicians, Tyler experiments on piano and guitar playing, honing his craft as a songwriter and instrumentalist.
An award-winning multi-instrumentalist willing to jump on board a promising project, no matter the style. Contributing to other projects puts Tyler in the position of playing guitar with Band of Horses. Tyler hit it off with singer Ben Bridwell, who asked him to open for the band on their fall tour and come on board as their new guitar player. “This is going to be an amazing tour. The opportunity to play solo, as well as with such a great band, I really couldn’t ask for more,” says Ramsey.
Robo-admin stand-in Mr. Crazy, stays mostly at his desk deep within the Horizon vault doing various store support duties and replicating Dr. Morgus science projects for Luci's amusement.
