Gasp, we finally launched our swank new website and wow-zer we are rockin with the new James McMurtry and our 10th Annual Yard Sale all in the same week. Yes, we are gonna have some fun. Did I mention Artisphere kicks this weekend? How about Saturday is also the first national Record Store Day? It’s all lining up and Horizon is the place to be . We hope to see you this week and on Saturday when we roll out the sprawling mob infested bargain blast sale-a-thon known now as our annual Music Yard Sale. Plus this year to do our part for Record Store Day we have ridiculous amounts of truly cool free stuff I mean free brand new CDs, LPs, and 45s for you for stopping by and buying anything you may choose 2 items I mean buy a yard sale cd for $3 and take 2 freebies with it! Of course you can and will want to spend more but we just want to say thanks. As part of Record Store Day we will have some limited edition special like a Vampire Weekend 45 and some Matador Records turntable mats and few Clash CDs to go with their new DVD and much more. Check out the concerts in the EVENTS section; see Saturday 2pm Rocket Number Nine Zoom Zoom Up plays here and right after that Saturday at 3pm. Romantica plays here both are free. The café will have Festival food specials all day– lots of Po Boys and grill out goodies and who knows what. The bottom line is thanks for sticking with us through all these crazy times . This week we hope to show you how grateful we are. All you gotta do is COME SEE US!
By the the way, be sure to check out the Local Scene Map while visiting our new site, it’s the section we’re most proud of and think you will enjoy a moment or two of cruising there.
