The Work’s Christmas Jam is Greenville’s Awesome Ghost of Christmas Past, Present AND Future, now in its EIGHTH YEAR, the gift that keeps on giving back to the community and the most anticipated holiday event on the Calendar. This year’s lineup features a jaw-dropping array — and growing — roster of artists: DDBB’s Kevin Harris, legacies like Felix Pastorius and Grant Green Jr.; Ike Stubblefield, Yonrico Scott (of Derek Trucks Band), Bobby Lee Rogers (of The Codetalkers), Solomon Wright (of Dubconscious), Shane Pruitt, Laura Blackley, Jef Chandler, Matt Jennings, Doug Jones (of Cravin’ Melon), Shannon Hoover, Tez Sherrard – and many, many more. The Work themselves, with their horn-driven rock, are worth the price of admission, which goes toward the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Carolinas. A silent auction also will be held (with some very cool stuff). More details soon.
