This what it all looked like at RSD 2011

Indeed! Horizon Records offers a hearty, weary, but grateful THANK YOU to all who rocked our Record Store Day 2011 this past Saturday. Holy Moly! From those who were lined up in the rain to get in and then poured in at 8am to the multitudes who swarmed in pursuit of RSD special releases or a some bargains all day to the stragglers who put some extra groovy punch in our Sunday, we are sayin’ BLESS YOU, this has been our biggest Record Store Day yet and was a blast. If you couldn’t be here or just missed it, we still have a decent selection of some really cool RSD limited editions special releases. While they last, when their gone they are GONE. Of course THE FLAMING LIPS box, BIG STAR BOX, RYAN ADAMS 7”, 13th FLOOR ELEVATORS 7”, all gone. However still got some modest quantities of RAY LAMONTAGNE LP, BLACK ANGELS 10”, AKRON FAMILY LP, SYD BARRETT LP, TOM PETTY LPs, nice selection of both LP and 7” and some 10” and CD etc.

For now it’s back to work, it’s another week in record store land and we have lots of amazing recent releases for you like JASON ISBELL, PAUL SIMON, ROBBIE ROBERTSON, and the new HAUSCHKA. YUP all are in stock on CD and glorious VINYL LP. PLUS this Friday we keep the joint rawkin when LEFT LANE CRUISER plays 2 shows here bringing their naturally distorted thumpin blues n boogie to celebrate their new CD/LP “JUNKYARD SPEEDBALL”. That’s it. We are here .Y’all come see us.
